Sunday we heard the challenging message of Colossians 3:1-17 - if we have taken the name of Christ, our lives will truly be changed. By accepting Him, we accept His values. By focusing on Him, we become more like Him. So... what next? Here are a few suggestions for your next steps - from classes to further reading to online materials and more. For Further Thought: Read our key passage again - Colossians 3:1-17.
Memory Verse: "Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God."
Colossians 3:1 NIV Colossians: We're currently studying the book of Colossians. Let's read the book each week. It's a short read, but packed with wisdom your heart needs to hear: For Further Reading (and Listening):
Arriving, by Chris Tomlin. Contains the original recording of "Your Grace is Enough," along with "Indescribable," "Unfailing Love," "Holy is the Lord" and others. One of the most influential worship albums of all time.
Celebration of Discipline: The Path to Spiritual Growth, by Richard J. Foster |
